• Identity Data: Email address when you create an account to save your historical searches and scenarios.
• Sourcing Data: The Alibaba product URLs, logistics parameters, and specific HS Codes you save to your profile.
• Financial Data: If you upgrade to our Pro Sourcing tier, your payment transactions are processed entirely by Stripe. We do NOT store your credit card details.

3. How We Use Your Data

We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we use your data to:

• Create and maintain your user account.
• Synchronize your saved Alibaba calculations across your devices.
• Provide technical support and send system updates.
• Execute background AI analyses (via OpenAI APIs) to calculate estimated customs and freight for your requested searches.

4. Data Security & Storage

We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. We use Supabase as our primary authentication and database provider, which uses industry-standard encryption practices to secure your data.

5. Third-Party Services

Our extension acts as a calculator layered on top of Alibaba.com. We are not legally affiliated with Alibaba Group. To calculate customs, we use OpenAI's language models. To process subscription payments, we use Stripe. Please review their respective privacy policies regarding how they handle data.
